If you want great success you need your two visions working together!

If you are looking for great success in your life and your business, you need to have both of your visions working together! If you are curious about why I talk about two visions, there’s a very important reason why! Having a vision statement for your life and for your business is very important!

First, I need you to remember something VERY important that makes all the difference in your life, in all areas. You need to remember to EXECUTE on what you are learning! If you want to see the RESULTS, WEALTH, and IMPACT that you really want and deserve, you MUST execute on what you learn!

STEP 1 IS HAVING THE RIGHT MINDSET

Sometimes the idea of vision or having a vision statement for your life or business can seem too big or too far off, but those are just your limiting beliefs talking! GET RID OF THOSE! Replace them with the belief (the TRUTH) that you can do, be and have ANYTHING you want! Tell that negative voice to shut up and instead, spend your time executing on what you learn!!! Also read and re-read “Secrets of the Millionaire Mind” by T. Harv Eker at least once a quarter to keep those limiting beliefs away! This is so important to your ability to move forward and achieve what you want to!

STEP 2 IS MAKING EVEN A LITTLE BIT OF PROGRESS

Even if all you do today while you read this is jot down a few ideas or maybe put some time in your calendar at a later date, taking any step is a step in the correct direction. Execute on anything you read today and you will begin the process of progress as your brain is rewarded with dopamine every time you make any progress at all.

CREATE YOUR PERSONAL VISION

As you think about your personal vision, consider what you want to achieve, what you want to do, and your goals, whether financial, family oriented, giving, or personal development. As you think about these things, think about starting every question you ask yourself with the phrase, “if money was no object”. Ask yourself questions like this:

  • What have you always wanted?
  • How do you want to change the world?
  • How do you want to change YOUR world?
  • How do you want to be able to love and support loved ones?
  • How wealthy do you want to be?

These are just starter ideas and examples. Enjoy the journey as you brainstorm, day dream, and even create a vision board! Think about your dream life and write it out! Don’t let money or limiting beliefs stand in the way or stifle your vision! BE A KID. IMAGINE. HAVE FUN.

One area that is really important and sometimes can be overlooked when creating a vision is where you want to give and how you want to help others. When I was young I did not get this. I was coming from a place where I didn’t have a lot, I didn’t feel like I had choices, and I was starting to make my own money thinking, “why would I give this away?”. However, I very quickly realized that one of the most amazing things you can do in life is give, whether it’s your time or your money. The way that I get to give because of the way my businesses provide for me is one of the things that helps me through life when times are sad, or I’m having a hard day.. or week. It is not only helping others but it also helps you.

CREATE YOUR BUSINESS VISION

As a side note, each business you own will have it’s own vision. However, each statement for each business is born out of your personal mission statement. The vision for your business will be ineffective in motivating you unless it’s born from your personal mission statement. So, make sure you have your personal vision done before starting on your business vision!

Your business should be a systemized, profitable, machine that can run without you so that you can achieve your personal vision! This is essentially what we do here at TMH is help you create a systemized, profitable, and sustainable business!

Let’s go through an example. Your personal vision may include a $10 million retirement goal. How will you achieve that?

  • Figure out how much money you need to make each year to get to your $10 million on time.
  • Factor that into your business’s strategic plan, financial plans, marketing plans, and people plans!
  • You also need to think about and include your answers to the questions above in your vision; you want it tied strongly to your WHY.

Your business is a vehicle to change the world in a much bigger way than just  you trying to on your own. For me, in one of my businesses, we have a Choices for Children Sponsorship program. This is a fund that we run through our business which is part of our business vision statement and my (Kelli-Rae’s) personal vision of wanting to see children have the choices in life that I didn’t (or didn’t think I had)!

DON’T FORGET YOUR WHY

Your personal and business vision will be tied into your WHY. Your WHY is what makes you get out of bed in the morning. Your WHY is what keeps you going when you don’t feel like you can go any further. Your WHY is what drives you and motivates you every single day. My WHY is giving choices to children. That’s it. My WHY gets me out of bed, it gets me through hard times, and makes everything I do worth it. I encourage you and urge you to trust me when I say taking the time to work on your vision is SO worth it.
