Frustrated With Your Results? Focus on the Area You Want To Improve

Have you been frustrated with the results you’re getting in one or more areas of your life? What skills would you need to improve that area of your life (let’s say it’s your business)? How many hours per week do you spend developing those skills you need to improve that area?

I may have broken the record for shortest business advice this week! This is how simple it is: focus on the area you want to improve and work on it.

1. Choose the area: let’s say your business.

2. Identify the skills you need to improve; let’s call them “running your business” skills.

3. Commit to at least one hour per week (one hour per day is even better) of education and growth in that area. You can get business coaching, do online courses, read books, meet with mentors, or listen to podcasts or audiobooks. The point is, you learn about that area and grow your skills, consistently every week (every day is better). Here’s a quick chat about reading more books to learn how to do more things (and do things better):

4. PUT IT IN YOUR CALENDAR AND DO IT.

Remember, execution trumps EVERYTHING!!

You can focus and work on the area you want to improve in any area of your life, and once you start to see the results, you will want to spend even more time studying in that area!
